Professor of Chinese and Director of Confucius Institute, Eötvös Loránd University. He received the Pro Universitate Award at golden grade in 2010, and the Confucius Institute Performance Excellence Award of the Year in 2011.
Research Areas: History and philosophy of the Chinese Huayan Buddhist school, which flourished in China during Tang dynasty.
