Professor in the department of English Language and Literature at Seoul Women’s University, Seoul, Korea.  A member of the ICLA Executive Council from 2007 to 2016.  The President of Korea Comparative Literature Association (KCLA) (2014-2015).  Main research fields include: English Renaissance drama; P’ansori and Korean Theatre; translation theories; gender studies and theories in comparative literature.  Major publications include: editor of the two-volume Proceedings of the ICLA 2010 Seoul Congress, Expanding the Frontiers of Comparative Literature: A Return to the Transnational Tradition Vol. I, and Toward an Age of Tolerance, Vol. II.
