Director and head of School of Philosophy, Fudan University. Visiting scholar of Peking University, Regent College, Yale University, Institute of Sino-Christian Studies, University of Birmingham, Munich School of Philosophy, The University of Chicago, and National Taiwan University. Main research fields include: western modern philosophy, enlightenment philosophy, political philosophy, Jewish-Christian philosophy, phenomenology, French philosophy, comparative philosophy. Major publications include: 《十七世纪形而上学》（coedit，2005）；《政治哲学与汉语神学》（coedit，2007）；《面对他者：莱维纳斯哲学思想研究》（2008）etc.
