Professor of Beijing Foreign Studies University, Director and Head of Institute for Global History, President of Society of Cultural Interaction in East Asia (Osaka) and Vice-President of Chinese Society for Historians of China’s foreign Relations. Main research fields include: global history, Chinese academic history, and the history of Chinese Buddhism.
