Main research fields include: Science and Religion, the nature of the human, human sociality (including its strengths, how it can be fostered, and what makes our sociality break down), social transformation theory. Major publications include: The Creativity of God. World, Eucharist, Reason (2004), Theology of Transformation: Faith, Freedom and the Christian Act (2013), "Niche construction, social cognition and language: hypothesizing the human as the production of place" (2016).
