Chloë Starr is Professor of Asian Christianity and Theology at Yale Divinity School; Adjunct Researcher at Renmin University of China; former lecturer at the faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on Chinese literature and theology. Among her numerous publications are  Red-light Novels of the late Qing; Chinese Theology: Text and Context.
