Vice-Rector for international affairs at Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest), Professor of Chinese studies at Eötvös Loránd University, Director of the Institute of East Asian Studies. Main research fields include: Chinese Buddhism, especially the History and philosophy of the Chinese Huayan Buddhist school.
