李雪涛

LI Xuetao is Professor and Director of Institute for Global History at Beijing Foreign Studies University and a former President of Society of Cultural Interaction in East Asia (Osaka). His research focuses on global history, Chinese academic history, and the history of Chinese Buddhism. Among his numerous publications are Germany and China: The Encounters in History (2015), Misunderstanding Dialogues: Chinese Memories of German Sinologists (2013), and Sinology in Genealogy of Germanic Scholarship: A Study of German Sinology (2008).
