Cai Qinghua is Associate Professor at Fudan University, PhD in Philosophy of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on pre-Qin Taoism, Wei-Jin metaphysics, and overseas Taoist philosophy research. Among her numerous publication is  The Discernment of Speech and Meaning and the Basic Problem of Language Philosophy - A Reinterpretation of the Discernment of Speech and Meaning in Wei and Jin  .
