Tungyi Kho obtained a PhD in Social Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London. He also has a PhD in Cultural Studies from Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He is an invited researcher at the Institute of Rural Construction of China, Southwest University. His research focuses on colonialism and decoloniality, Chinese modernization and modernity, and on alternative modes of being.
