YUAN Boping

YUAN Boping is a PhD supervisor at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Churchill College, the University of Cambridge.  He has been an Executive Committee member of the International Society of Chinese Language Teaching since 2010. He is also General Editor of  Journal of Second Language Studies (John Benjamins).  His research interests are in empirical studies of developmental and synchronic aspects of second language acquisition, bilingualism and multilingualism; linguistic approaches to non-native Chinese grammars; second language acquisition theory; formal linguistics; syntax and semantics. He has published numerous articles in these areas in internationally prestigious journals.
