Kiraz Perincek Karavit is a researcher at Bogaziçi University Asian Studies Center and a PhD candidate in the History Department. Her research focuses on Silk Road studies with a special interest on cultural and artistic interactions, narrative painting and folk tales. Her dissertation title is “Mobile art along the Silk Road: Mehmed Siyah Kalem paintings”
