LIU Boyun is currently an associate professor and master's degree supervisor at the School of English and Advanced Translation, Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). Her main research areas cover literature, translation studies, and intellectual history. She has presided over more than ten research projects, including the  key project of the National Social Science Fund titled "A Study on the Intellectual Background of Syriac in Nestorian Literature" , as well as BLCU’s Talent Program and various university-level projects. She has also participated in major projects supported by the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, she has published more than 30 academic papers in core academic journals such as Studies in World Religions , World Religious Cultures , and Religious Studies . Her representative monographs include The Dead Sea Scrolls Today  and The Ritual Process . Notable journal articles include Oral and Written Translation Practices in Ancient and Modern Times"   and "Interdisciplinary Studies in Translation ,  among others .
