Cheng Miaoting is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Information Technology, Faculty of Education at Shenzhen University (SZU), and a recipient of the Shenzhen High-Level Talent title. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Hong Kong (HKU).  

Her main research areas are artificial intelligence in education, learning sciences and technology, and assessment of core competencies. Her selected funded projects include 2022 Shenzhen Stable Support Program General Project Mechanisms and Impact of AI Education for Adolescents: A Social-Cognitive Science Perspective , and 2023 Shenzhen 14th Five-Year Plan Key Project in Education Science Assessment of Technological and Engineering Literacy Among Adolescents in the New Era .
