LI Qian is currently a lecturer in the Department of Sinology at the Oriental Institute of the University of Warsaw (UW). Her main research areas include error analysis in Polish students’ learning of Chinese , texploration of the etymology and rationale of Chinese characters, language pedagogy, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL), classical Chinese (文言文) instruction, and enlightenment education for bilingual children. Her representative work is  MOdern  Chinese  (a local textbook).
