Hu Di is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Geographical Science, Nanjing Normal University (NNU). He also serves as a committee member of the Working Group on Spatially Integrated Humanities and Social Sciences of the Geographical Society of China, and a committee member of the Professional Committee on Social Remote Sensing and Geocomputation of the China Remote Sensing Application Association. His main research areas include spatiotemporal GIS, spatially integrated humanities and social sciences, and historical GIS. He has led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, among others. As a key researcher, he has participated in several national and provincial-level projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China. He has published over 20 academic papers, including 8 SCI/EI-indexed papers as first author or corresponding author, and holds 3 national invention patents.
