Chang HUANG is an Associate Research Fellow and Master's Supervisor at the Institute of Historical Theory, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). She also serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the the CASS International Center for Sinology Studies. Proficient in English, Yoruba (an African language), Latin, and other languages, his research focuses on overseas Chinese studies and the history of Sino-foreign relations. She has led or participated in multiple projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China and various provincial/ministerial-level initiatives. Her publications in core academic journals cover topics such as African Sinology, African studies, and global Chinese diaspora research, with several articles reprinted by the Reprinted in Information Center for Social Science of RUC. Her representative monograph is The Role of Christianity in British Colonial Rule from a Global Historical Perspective: A Case Study of Hong Kong and Yorubaland, 1841–1914. A representative article is Historical Theory Research Rooted in China and Oriented Toward the World: An Academic Interview with Chen Qinen.
