NIANG, Ibrahima is an assistant lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Cheikh Anta Diop University (Dakar, Senegal).  Holds a Ph.D. in Sociology fromthe same institution. He serves on the organizing committee of the 2025 Africa-Asia Con-festival (Dakar).

His research and pedagogical practice center on economic sociology, economic policy, international relations, and China geopolitics in Africa. 

His major publications include  Between Africanism and Orientalism: Historical and Intellectual   Trajectories of sociological Practices in China and Senegal (2020) , Chinese E nterprises in Senegal and Social Justice: Intercultural Management and Conflicts (2020).
