TOH, Kai En is a Ph.D. candidate in Chinese Classical Philology at the School of Liberal Arts, Nanjing University (NJU). His research focuses on the naming taboo system of the Song Dynasty, textual criticism, and bibliography. He has participated in projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, engaging in the translation of archival documents on Sino-Malaysian trade and the digitization of Tang Dynasty texts. He has been awarded the Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship and the Jiangsu Jasmine Scholarship for his academic achievements.
