TRAN, Son Tung holds a Ph.D. in Intercultural Communication from Wuhan University. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Hanoi National University) and a local teacher at the Confucius Institute of Hanoi University. He was selected as a Vietnam Young scholar specializing on Sinology under the New Sinology Plan and serves as a member of the Young Scholars Committee of the World Congress of Sinology (2023-2025). His research fields include Sino-Vietnamese intercultural communication, international promotion of the Chinese language, China' s national image and The Belt and Road Initiative from the perspective of international communication.
