Zhang Xin is currently a Lecturer at the School of International Cultural Exchange, Renmin University of China (RUC). She previously served as a Teaching Assistant at the School of Chinese as a Second Language, Peking University (PKU), and as a Lecturer at the School of Liberal Arts, Renmin University of China. Her main research interests include international Chinese language education and modern Chinese grammar. Her representative works include A Task-Based Approach to Teaching Chinese Grammar as a Second Language  and New Silk Road: Elementary Business Chinese Comprehensive Course I . Notable papers include “Research on Teacher Training for Online Chinese Language Instruction”  and “A Reexamination of Preposed Connective Markers in Modifier-Head Compound Sentences.”
