Huang Jialiang is a Professor at the School of Sociology and Population Studies, Renmin University of China (RUC), and serves as the Director of the Institute of Legal Sociology at RUC. He concurrently holds the position of Deputy Secretary-General of the Sociology Teaching Steering Committee under China’s Ministry of Education. His current research focuses on Crisis and Reconstruction of Grassroots Community Order‌ during societal transformations, Dispute Resolution, Law, and Grassroots Social Governance‌, Ding County Rural Construction Experiments‌ and longitudinal studies on rural social change ‌Implementation Logic of Social Policies‌ at the grassroots level. With an extensive publication record, Professor Huang has authored over 70 academic articles in prominent journals.
