Ding Anqi is a Professor at the International College of Chinese Studies, East China Normal University (ECNU), where she serves as Associate Dean and Deputy Director of the International Chinese Language Teacher Training and Research Base. She holds key academic leadership roles, such as Vice Chair of the Standards and Certification Committee of the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching (ISCLT) and Vice President of the International Chinese Language Promotion Branch of the Chinese Language Modernization Society. Additionally, she is a council member of the Shanghai Language Society. Her primary research focuses on international Chinese language education and teacher training in this field. She has published nearly 100 academic papers in prestigious journals such as Chinese Teaching in the World, Language Teaching and Linguistic Studies, Applied Linguistics, and Foreign Language World, in addition to authoring or editing over 20 monographs, compilations, and textbooks. She has led the development of key pedagogical frameworks, including the General International Chinese Curriculum Guidelines (Primary and Secondary Education)  and the General International Chinese Curriculum Guidelines (Higher and Adult Education) . As a core contributor, she participated in formulating the Professional Standards for International Chinese Language Teachers and spearheaded the creation of Chinese language curriculum standards for primary and secondary schools in South Africa and Tanzania.
