Zhao Wei is an Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Literature, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).She serves as Head of the Digital Information Research Office and the Digital Humanities & Computational Criticism Laboratory, as well as a Master's supervisor.

Additionally, she holds the position of Editorial Board Member for Digital Humanities and serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Digital Humanities Committee of the China Society of Indexes and the China Digital Humanities Subcommittee of the Chinese Society of Literary Theory.

Her primary research areas include digital humanities, computational criticism, literary theory, comparative literature and twentieth-century Chinese literature.
