Kenpa Chin holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from National Taiwan University and is currently a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Fu Jen Catholic University. He previously served as the Director of the Graduate Institute of Religious Studies and Distinguished Professor at Chung Yuan Christian University, and was also a Visiting Professor at Renmin University of China. He is the editor-in-chief of several major book series, including the Corpus of Chinese Christian Classics and the Academic Series on Christianity, and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals such as Critical Research on Religion. His primary research interests include philosophy of religion, Christian theology, political philosophy, hermeneutics, and the history of Christianity in China. His representative work is God, Relation, and Language: Critical Theology and the Critique of Theology (Shanghai: East China Normal University Press, 2011).
