Perinçek Karavit, Kiraz is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Asian Studies Center of the Boğaziçi University. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Boğaziçi University and a Master’s degree in Society, Science, and Technology from Université Louis Pasteur. She was awarded the Best Paper Prize at the 7th World Conference on Sinology(Suzhou, China, 2021). She previously served as a foreign expert in the Turkish Section of China Radio International and worked as a journalist and editor-in-chief formultiple print media outlets and television channels in Istanbul, Turkey. Her research focuses on cultural and artistic exchanges along the Silk Roads, with particular emphasis on the role of Chinese history, art, and culture in this process.
