现任香港中文大学新闻与传播学院副教授，社会科学学院计算社会科学实验室副主任，社会学系人口研究中心副主任，香港城市大学互联网挖掘实验室核心成员。曾获香港中文大学青年学者研究成就奖。主要研究领域为计算社会科学、政治传播和数字公共卫生等。研究成果多次发表于顶级传播学期刊，如《传播学研究》（ Communication Research ）《人类传播研究》（ Human Communication Research ）《传播杂志》（ Journal of Communication ）等。现任《传播与社会学刊》副主编，《传播理论》（ Communication Theory ）《人类传播研究》（ Human Communication Research ）《传播杂志》（ Journal of Communication ），以及《计算机通信研究》（ Computational Communication Research ）等期刊编委。
