Rodionov Aleksei is Senior Deputy Dean and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Asian and African Studies, St Petersburg State University and literary translator. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Confucius Institute at St. Petersburg University, vice-president of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Association in St. Petersburg, and head of the Chinese Literature Club in Russia.His research focus on modern Chinese literature, Russian–Chinese literary communication and translation studies.
