Şükrü Aktas is a nominee for Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Ankara University, Turkey. His primary research areas include Sinology, ancient history of northern Chinese ethnic groups, history of ancient nomadic peoples, ancestors’ history of the Xiongnu and Turks, and history of ancient myths. Currently, he is conducting research on the history of the Massagetae and Greater Massagetae.

​Patricia Amate Núñez is Ph.D. candidate in the Joint Program of Beijing Normal University and University of Almeria, a member of the Research Institute Centre for Communication and Society (CySOC) and of the Teaching Innovation Project “Theatron: Dramatisation as a Teaching Resource in Higher Education” at the University of Almeria. She is also a member of the China Contemporary Research Group HUM-1018. Her research interests include: sinology, gender studies, social linguistics. Her doctoral thesis focuses on a sociolinguistic analysis of the novel ''Dream of the Red Chamber''.

Dr. Tahmineh Bazdar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature in the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature at Tehran University. Her research is centered around language teaching, sinology, Iranian studies, translation, cognitive linguistics, and more. She has conducted researches of comparative analysis, Error Analysis, and Cognitive Studies between Persian and Chinese languages in grammar, literature, translation, and other fields. Currently, her academic focus is comparative studies of the literary traditions of Iran and China, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical contexts that have shaped them.

Roland Boer is an "Overseas Talent" professor at the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China. He was formerly a professor in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Newcastle, Australia. His research interests include Marxist philosophy, Marxist biblical criticism, and critical theory of religion. His representative works include Criticism of Heaven: On Marxism and Theology, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door: The Hebrew Bible and Cultural Criticism, and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics: A Guide for Foreigners, etc. In 2014, his book, The Criticism of Heaven and Earth (five volumes), was awarded the Isaac and Tamara Deutscher Memorial Prize.

​Andrés BORQUEZ is an Assistant Professor at the University of Chile. His research focuses on China's foreign policy, comparative economic policy in East Asia, international policy theory. His major publications are "Who are China’s strategic economic partners in South America?", "Iniciativas Estratégicas No-Tradicionales en las relaciones chino-chilenas: ¿un caso de poder blando de China en América del Sur? ", etc.

CAO Xianwen is the Vice Dean of the Institute for the International Students, a Professor of Linguistics, a researcher of The China Center for Linguistics and Strategic Studies of Nanjing University. He is also a council member and a deputy chairperson of Professional Development Committee of International Society for Chinese Language Teaching (ISCLT). His research focuses on International Chinese education, linguistics and applied linguistics. His major publications are New Research on International Chinese Language Education; Research on Effective International Chinese Language Teaching; Applied Linguistic Empirical Research Methods and Quantitative Data Analysis: Perspectives on Research on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language; Linguistic Prisms: An Introduction to Interdisciplinary Linguistics.

Anna Chelnokova-Siejka is an assistant professor at the Department of Foreign Regional Studies and the Department of Communication and Linguistics of Human Sciences of Moscow State University of Languages and Languages. Her research interest is comparative sociological studies. Major publication is The Study on the Change of Urban Youth Culture Since the Reform and Opening Up: A Case Study of Youth Subculture (Chinese).

​Chen Jianlan is the Dean of the School of the Liberal Arts of Renmin University of China, professor and doctoral supervisor. He has been selected as one of the leading talents in philosophy and social sciences under the National High-Level Personnel of Special Support Program, one of the "Four Groups of Talents", and a distinguished professor of the "distinguished scholars" program of Renmin University. He received his Ph.D. from Peking University in 2002, and worked at the Chinese National Academy of Arts as editor and deputy editor-in-chief of Literature and Art Studies. He became a professor of the School of Liberal Arts of Renmin University in 2018, and then became the Dean of the School of the Liberal Arts of Renmin University since 2018. He also serves as a member of the Chinese Language and Literature Discipline Review Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the chairman of the Literature and Art Branch of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee of Renmin University of China, the vice president of the Chinese Society of Literature and Art Theory, the vice president of the Chinese Society of Aesthetics, and the member of the editorial board of the Journal of Renmin University of China. His research focuses on Western modern literature and aesthetics, Chinese modern literature and aesthetics, and Chinese contemporary art criticism. He is the author of Absence and Incidental Presence, and his publications include The Critical Dimension in Modern Aesthetics: On Schiller’s Concept of Aesthetic State, From Aesthetics to Aesthetic Utopia-a History of Issues in Early Modern Aesthetics, etc.

​Prof. CHEN is an internationally renowned scholar and researcher in Chinese Studies. His diversified interests in Chinese Studies include classical studies and early Chinese culture and history, historical writings, traditional Chinese poetry, excavated documents and paleography: bronze inscriptions and bamboo and silk writings, and intellectual history of the Ming and Qing dynasty. In addition to his remarkable scholarship, Prof. CHEN is also an experienced university administrator. Apart from being the Head of Department of Chinese in HKBU between 2010 and 2013, Prof. CHEN was Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts between 2015 and 2017, held the Directorship of Mr. Simon Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen Sino-Human Institute between 2011 and 2014. Between 2012 and 2014, Prof. CHEN was appointed Founding Acting Director of Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology and became the Director from 2014 to present. Starting from 2018, Prof. CHEN served as the Board Director of Wuhan College. Prof. CHEN had joined Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College in 2018 as the Vice President (Academic) and was promoted to Provost in 2020. Prof. CHEN is now President of Hong Kong Chu Hai College.

CUI Yonghua is a Professor of Beijing Language and Culture University, Honorary Professor of Jilin Normal University. His research areas include Chinese grammar, Chinese teaching, Chinese information processing. Professor Cui has been engaged in Chinese teaching and teaching research since 1981 and has published more than 40 papers, Chinese textbooks and academic monographs such as Classroom Teaching Techniques for Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.

​Dai Liyan is a professor and director of the Department of Digital Economy in the School of International Economics and Politics of Liaoning University, Ph.D. of economics, council member of the Chinese Society of World Economics, council member of the China Society of Emerging Economies, council member of the Liaoning Society of World Economics, visiting scholar at Cornell University, a young top-notch talent of the Xingliao Talent Program of Liaoning Province, and a young top-notch talent of Liaoning University. Her main research interests include international investment, sovereign wealth funds, and regional cooperation in Northeast Asia. Nicolas DAMIN is a researcher at the Center for Argentina-China Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a professor in the National University of Lanus. His research topics are Studies on China-Latin America relations and production-labor studies. His major publications are Sociologia Historia Y Memoria De Los Pueblos Ferroviarios and other monographs dealing with the industrial relations in Argentina and the China-Argentina cooperation in the mining sector.

Didier DieudonneNamais a lecturer in the Department of Chinese Language at the Higher Normal College of Marua University in Cameroon, Chief Inspector of Chinese Language at the Ministry of Secondary Education in Cameroon, Ph.D. in Linguistics from Beijing Language and Culture University.Hereceived the Special Contribution Award for Chinese Booksin 2020. His research interests include Chinese language studies and teaching Chinese as a second language. He is the editor ofChinese language textbooks (4 volumes).

Cord Eberspächer is Full Professor at Hunan Normal University in Changsha and Adjunct Professor at the University of Bonn, former director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Duesseldorf (2010-2020). His research focuses on Modern Chinese History, China and globalization, Sino-German relations, military and naval history and the perception of China in the West. His major publications are Prussia-Germany and China, 1942-1911: An annotated edition of source material; Knowledge Exchange and Modernization Processes between Europe and China and Japan; and China’s Imperial Wars.

Bankuwiha Etienne is a Ph.D. candidate of Nanjing University, Deputy Secretary General of China-Burundi Friendship Association, President of Burundi Chinese Translators Association, former native Chinese teacher of the University of Burundi, director of the Great Lake Confucius Classroom of the University of Burundi, director of Chinese education in primary and secondary schools in Burundi. He is mainly engaged in Sino-African comparative literature and cross-cultural, international Chinese education and Confucius Institute research. He published a monograph I Love to Learn Chinese and more than 10 papers in journals such as China-Africa Studies and African Great Lakes Research Center or mainstream media, and compiled a number of research reports, two of which were reprinted by the Chinese Embassy in Burundi and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

​Houlda Fambo is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at Nankai University. Her research interest is economic growth, foreign direct investment and poverty reduction.

​Dario Famularo is a lecturer at the Beijing Language and Culture University, Ph. D. in Philosophy from Fudan University. His research focuses on the history of Sino-Italian cultural exchanges, the history of Sinology, and the history of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. He has published academic papers in journals both in China and Italy. His doctoral thesis is “A Study on the Thought of Italian Sinologist Antelmo Severini (1828-1909).”

Mahmoud Asaad Mahmoud Mahmoud Farag studied at Fudan University and is engaged in the comparative study of Chinese and Arab modern literature. His academic experience includes: “A Comparison between Ba Jin and Kahlil Gibran's short stories ‘The Image of the Avengers’” (Literary Education, No. 2); On November 17, 2019, he delivered a paper at the “Seminar on Corpora and Interdisciplinary Research” held by the Corpus-based Research Institute of Shanghai International Studies University. ​Giray Fidan is a translator, sinologist, and professor at Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University in Turkey. He has translated and published several works from Chinese. His translation of Sunzi Bingfa (The Art of War) marked the first direct translation from Chinese literature into Turkish. His notable translations and publications include The Analects of Confucius, Lao She’s A Tale of Cat City, and Zhang Wei's Ancient Ship, among others. He was honored with the Young Achievement Award at the 10th Special Book Award of China.

Ming Kuan Gooi is an international student from Malaysia, Ph.D. candidate in the Chinese Department at the University of Malaya and a joint Ph.D. student in the Anthropology Department at Xiamen University. His research focuses on Chinese Buddhism in the context of China and Southeast Asia, overseas Chinese communities in Southeast Asia, and folk religion in Southeast Asia.
