11月5日至6日,第八届世界汉学大会在中国人民大学苏州校区举行,来自海内外的汉学家高度评价了大会对于沟通中外文化、促进文明交流互鉴的桥梁纽带作用。
LIU Zengguang is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China, and secretary general of the Confucius Institute at Renmin University of China. He is also the director of the Chinese Confucius Society and the director of the China Zengzi Research Society. His research focuses on Song and Ming philosophy, and the history of economics. His main publications are Educating Common People and Inventing Systems: Zheng Xuan's Political Construction of Confucius' Image in His Commentary of Analects, Removing the Value of "The World is for All" and Elevating the ldea of Loyalty to Emperor-A Critical Study on the Annotation and Commentary on the Xiaojing, How to Understand Spirit of Enlightenment in the Confucianism—A Study from the Perspective of Neo-Confucianism.
ZANG Fengyu is the Dean of the School of Philosophy of Renmin University of China, professor and doctoral supervisor. He has been selected as one of the leading talents in philosophy and social sciences under the National Special Support Program for High-level Talents, one of the "Four Groups of Talents", and one of the "Distinguished Scholars" Distinguished Professors of Renmin University of China. He is the chief expert of the Interdisciplinary Platform on Modernization of State Governance and Applied Ethics of Renmin University of China, and the chief editor of Philosophers and Marxist Philosophy Review. He is also the vice president of China Dialectical Materialism Research Society and the president of Marxist Political Philosophy Research Society, the vice chairman of the Applied Ethics Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, the secretary general of the Nishan Joint Graduate School of Chinese Outstanding Traditional Cultures, and a member of the editorial board of Philosophical Research, Journal of Renmin University of China, and Teaching and Research. His research focuses on Marxist philosophy and political philosophy. His main publications are Introduction to Marx's Political Philosophy, Study of Marx's Political Philosophy in Textual Context, Marx and Smith and Ferguson in the Scottish Enlightenment, The French Enlightenment and Marx's Theory of Human Emancipation.
Sabina Halupka-Rešetar is a Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Full Professor of English at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Her main research interests cover both theoretical linguistics (syntax, pragmatics, syntax-pragmatics interface) and applied linguistics (ELT/ESP, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics). She has authored and co-authored three books on these topics as well as numerous research papers published in national and international journals.
Naoko Taguchi is a professor in the Department of English at Northern Arizona University, where she teaches applied linguistics and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) courses.
Leonard van der Kuijp is Professor of Tibetan and Himalayan Studies at Harvard University, Chairman of the Committee on Inner Asian and Altai Studies
Roland Boer is an "Overseas Talent" professor at the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China. He was formerly a professor in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Newcastle
Koichiro Inahata is Professor Emeritus at Waseda University, Visiting Professor at the School of Liberal Arts, Nanjing University.
