振兴民族艺术培养戏曲人才
中国戏曲作为一种民族文化,历史悠久、源远流长。但就其学科目录列入我国高等教育序列的时间而言,戏曲学科还是一个比较年轻的学科。以中国戏曲学校改制为高等戏曲院校和在中国戏曲学院设立“戏剧戏曲学”硕士培养点的时间看,前者是1978年、后者是1994年,不过是31年的时间。其中,硕士研究生教育的开办也还只有十余年。但即便如此,我国的高等戏曲教育在这短短的时间内,却依然是从无到有、从小到大,得到了迅速和全方位的发展。
第一个话题:夯实基础。
夯实什么基础呢?很明确,就是夯实是以戏曲表演艺术为重点的戏曲舞台艺术基础;就是夯实是以戏曲通史通论为重点的戏曲理论基础。特别是前者。众所周知,中国戏曲的一个重要特质,就是以舞台表演艺术为中心、以舞台表演艺术为标志、以舞台表演艺术为形象代表。事实上,戏曲学科的所有专业,包括戏曲管理策划等非舞台系列的专业,都离不开这个中心,都要以戏曲舞台艺术和戏曲基本理论,作为学科共同的专业基础。
第二个话题:继往开来。
我们现在培养的戏曲高级专门人才,就是肩负着中国戏曲艺术继往开来历史使命的中坚和骨干。中国戏曲的孕育诞生,是中华民族的一个伟大创造和伟大奇迹;同样,中国戏曲的衍化传承,也是中华民族的一个伟大创造和伟大奇迹。
第三个话题:全面素质。
所谓全面素质,是说它包括了高尚的思想道德素质、纯熟的艺术创作素质、丰富的文化理论素质和严谨求实的学术研究素质。这是我们的高级戏曲专门人才所必须具备的素质;也是我们不可动摇的人才培养的事业理念与事业责任。

Foster National Arts, Educate Opera Talents
Chinese opera is a part of Chinese culture, and it has a long history, but seen from the time this discipline has been enlisted in the programs of institutions of higher education, it is still a rather young discipline. In 1978 the Chinese Opera School was became the Chinese Opera College, and in 1994 this college established a masters program for “drama and opera studies”, but this only covers a span of 31 years, and the education of graduate and master program students has only been going on for more than 10 years. But even so, within this short time the opera education at higher education institutes in our country developed quickly and has increased in size.
The first question: lay solid foundations.
What kind of foundation should be laid? It is clear that this should be the opera stage arts with emphasis on opera performance arts, namely it should be the theoretical foundation of opera with the emphasis on the comprehensive history of the opera and its theory, especially the former. Everyone knows that one essential characteristic of Chinese opera is that it has the stage performance arts as its center, as its mark, and as its visual representation. In fact all the professions of the discipline of Chinese opera, including the areas of opera administration and planning, are always close to this center, their theory is always the opera stage arts, this is the common professional foundation of this discipline.
The second question: To open up a new future
The highly professionalized Chinese opera talents which we educate now are the core group and backbone of the mission to open up a new future for the art of Chinese opera. The emergence and birth of the Chinese opera was a very great creation and great miracle of the Chinese nation. In the same way the continuation and tradition of the Chinese opera is also a great creation and great miracle of the Chinese people.
The third question: wholistic education and moral standards.
The expression wholistic education and moral standards implies noble thinking and high moral standards, purity and maturity in the creation of artifacts, richness in cultural theory and meticulous academic standards. These are the requirements which we demand from the highly professionalized opera talents, and these are also the unshakeable principles of our education work and the principles of our professional responsibility.
