“Literature and Us”

As a novelist (THE HUNTER, DISQUIET) and a filmmaker (SLEEPING BEAUTY) I will talk on moving between the worlds of literature and film.  My focus will be on my novella DISQUIET which ‘at conception’ was informed by cinema. I will discuss my writing process and also briefly look at other examples of literary works where the film medium could be said to be inherent in the prose. I will discuss the integrity of literature in our age of film.
