Professor Yang Huilin attends "2009 China-EU Multilingualism Conference" and gives a key-note presentation

On March 30th, the Opening Ceremony for the "2009 China-EU Multilingualism Conference" was held in Beijing. The conference was sponsored by the State Education Ministry and the European Commission, and was co-organized by the National Hanban. Vice Minister Zhang Xinsheng of the Ministry of Education and Commissioner Leonard Orban of the European Commission for Multilingualism, each made speeches respectively. Professor Yang Huilin, Vice President of Renmin University, and Professor Wolfgang Mackiewicz from the Free University of Berlin, delivered keynote addresses. Professor Yang Huilin's topic was “Inter-interpretation of Different Cultures in the Act of Translation”.
