Organizing Committee of the Second World Conference on Sinology Holds Planning Meeting

On May 27, 2009 IPCLC and School of Liberal Arts held the planning meeting for the Second World Conference on Sinology.

Prof. Wang Guiyuan presided at the meeting. The head of each working group participated in the meeting. Prof. Wang explained the current work and preparatory work and also distributed the work to each group. The following groups will start to work on specific areas: Academic Group (with three sub-groups: Theme Group, Translation Group, Document Group), Correspondence Group, Reception Group (with four sub-groups: Accommodation Group, Catering Group, Transportation Group, and Concert Group), Venue Group, Publicity Group, Decision-making Group. This meeting has made the responsibilities of each group clear and asked each group to set up detailed working plans.
