National Hanban Symposium on the Strategic Development of the International Promotion of Chinese held in Jinan

July 27, 2008: the Hanban ‘Symposium on the Strategic Development of the International Promotion of Chinese’ opened in Jinan. Director Xu Lin first introduced the recent work of the Hanban and clarified that this symposium was for listening to opinions and for pooling wisdom and experience. Pro Vice-Chancellor Chen Yulu expressed opinions on the opportunities, stage of development and development plans for the international promotion of Chinese, and put forward views and proposals on the Confucius Institute leadership organization, evaluation and set up, on key tasks and tackling problems.
