Renmin University Launches Project to Promote Chinese Traditional Opera Abroad

The opening ceremony for the Project to Promote Chinese Traditional Opera Abroad was held in the Renmin University Mingdetang (Hall of Bright Virtue) on October 24th 2008, when the symphony opera Jingyun Huacai was premiered. This project is jointly supported by Renmin University, the National Association for Peking Opera and Kunqu Opera, and the Chinese Foreign Language Bureau.
