Professor Yang Huilin Wins Christianity Today’s 2015 Award of Merit

Christianity Today recently announces its 2015 Book Awards. It picks 11 books for Award of Merits in its 11 areas. Professor Yang Huilin’s book China, Christianity and the Question of Culture (Baylor University Press) won the Award of Merit in the area of “Mission/Global Affairs”. 

Judd Birdsall, fellow of Center on Faith & International Affairs comments that“Huilin puts theology, missiology, and church history in conversation with the social sciences to clear away many of the common mischaracterizations surrounding the historical and contemporary role of the church in China.”
