Professor Meir Shahar from University of Tel Aviv Visits IPCLC

 
March 25, 2010 Professor Meir Shahar from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel visited IPCLC. Deputy Directors of IPCLC, Professor GENG Youzhuang and Mr. LIU Xiuyan, welcomed Professor Shahar and shared with the guest the newest developments on Confucius Institute and Sinology Studies at both universities.
 
With the help and support of Renmin University, the University of Tel Aviv set up the first Confucius Institute in Israel two years ago. The Confucius Institute has helped greatly with Chinese learning and the appreciation of Chinese modern culture. It has served as a new platform for people of two countries to communicate and share with each other.
