Officials from Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) Conducts A Survey at Renmin University of China

On July 20, 2009, Mr. Xu Lin, Director of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban), together with seven other officials from Hanban came to Renmin University for a survey. Prof. Yang Huilin, Ms. Xue Huanbai, Prof. Sun Yu, Prof. Wang Guiyuan, Associate Prof. Chen Qijia, and Mr. Liu Xiuyan were at the survey.

During the survey, Associate Prof. Chen Qijia reported on the preparatory work of composing the “Research Report on Volunteers Teaching Chinese as a Second Language”, and Mr. Xu Lin offered his opinions on the first draft of the research report proposal. Prof. Yang Huilin introduced briefly the preparatory work for the Second World Conference on Sinology. Mr. Xu Lin affirmed the preparatory work. Participants also held detailed discussions on the themes and panel topics for the Second World Conference on Sinology.
