Leader from Hanban (Office of Chinese Language Council International) Comes to IPCLC for a Survey

On September 18, Mr. Fan Ding, Head of Regulation Office of Hanban and Ms. Guo Jiaoyang, Vice Chair of Volunteer Center, came to IPCLC (Institute for Promoting Chinese Language and Culture) for a survey and made suggestions on the "Research Report on Chinese Volunteer Teachers Program". 

IPCLC presented the first draft of "Research Report on Chinese Volunteer Teachers Program" on September 11. The draft contains more than 200,000 characters. The leaders from Hanban affirmed the report for presenting a good survey on the history and development of the Chinese volunteer teachers program in the past six years and for the introduction of the similar organizations and programs in other countries. The survey and introduction would provide more convenience for the volunteer work in the future. In the meanwhile, the Hanban officers offered some practical suggestions on perspective, structure and content. Prof. Chen Qijia, Researcher at IPCLC, explained some parts of the report and responded to the suggestions. 

On September 21, Prof. Yang Huilin organized a seminar on the report. The seminar made final decisions on how to revise the "Research Report on Chinese Volunteer Teachers Program". The team members of the research project have started their revision work.
