Lúcia Anderson Ferreira da Silva obtained a PhD in Sociology from State University of Campinas, Brazil, and Peking University’s Sino-foreign cooperation doctoral program. She is currently a Portuguese teacher at Beijing Normal University. Her research focus on China-Brazil relations, specifically on how Brazilians executives adapt into the work environment in China.

Siew Wen Jia is a PhD student from the Department of Chinese literature and language, Peking University. Her research focuses on modern Chinese literature and culture and Malaysia-Chinese literature. Her current PhD research topic is “Nanyang Memories and Cross-border Networks”.

Susanti is a PhD candidate in Beijing Language and Culture University, majoring in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. Her research focuses on comparative study of Chinese and Indonesian, Chinese teaching, Indonesian semantic research, Indonesian teaching. Her current research projects are “Chinese International Education Communication Dynamic Database and World Chinese International Education Development Report” and the Indonesian version of “Foreign Language Communication for Epidemic Prevention and Control”.

Tong Shijun is Professor of philosophy at East China Normal University, Chairman of the CPC East China Normal University Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Philosophical Analysis. His research focuses on epistemology, practical philosophy and social theory. Among his numerous publications are The Problem of Modernity in the Dialogue between China and the West and Critique and Practice: Essays on Jürgen Haberma Dialectics of Modernization: Habermas and the Chinese Discourse of Modernization.

VERMANDER, Benoît
Benoît Vermander is Professor and doctoral advisor in the School of Philosophy of Fudan University as well as the director of the Xu-Ricci Dialogue Institute in the same School. His research focuses on the social and religious changes of the Yi people in Liangshan, the evolution of sacred space and sacred concepts in urban environments, cross-cultural theology, the hermeneutic of Chinese classics in the perspective of promoting dialogue among different wisdom traditions, and the relevance of rituals in different groups in today's society. Among his numerous publications are Shanghai Sacred: The Religious Landscape of a Global City (2018), Que cette demeure est donc fragile ! De Chine, penser en pandémie (2020), L’Homme et le grain (2021).

VILLAGRAN, Ignacio
Ignacio Villagrán is Director of the Argentina-China Studies Center of the School of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Professor of International Politics at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, and Associate Professor of East Asian Studies at the National University of General Sarmiento (UNGS) . His research focuses on Ancient Chinese political thought and administrative practice and early and medieval Chinese social history and religious practices. Among his numerous publications are “The China Studies in Argentina: A Review and Prospects”(2019), “‘Sturdy Boulders that Protect the Realm’ Early Medieval Chinese Thinkers on Decentralized Governance”(2018), and Being in Time: What Medieval Chinese Theorists can Teach us About Social History (co-authored, 2017).

Wang Ge is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. His research focuses on Song-Ming Neo-Confucianism, religious thought in Ming and Qing dynasties, and the early exchanges between Chinese and Western ideas. He is in charge of the National Social Science Foundation's youth project "Research on the Early Western Transmission of Neo-Confucianism and its Influence".

Wang Qi is a PhD Candidate from the Department of Philosophy, Sun Yat-Sen University. His research focuses on the introduction of western learning to the east in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. He is currently working on the study of Chinese Catholic spiritual literature, and participating in a National Social Science Foundation project, in which he is responsible for compiling eight works by Pedro de la Piñuela [O.F.M.].

Kumala Dewi Wundari is a PhD candidate in the Department of Chinese, Xiamen University and a lecture of Chinese Department at University of Bunda Mulia. She was a Chinese teacher at Binus University and Binus International School from 2014 to 2018. Her research focuses on loanwords in Chinese and Indonesian, Chinese as a foreign language. Her current research project is Research on Indonesian Loanwords in Chinese.

His research focuses on Daoist literature and documents, Song and Ming Daoist history, Buddhist-Daoist interactions, and modern-day rites and spells. YUAN Boping is a PhD supervisor at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Churchill College, the University of Cambridge.  He has been an Executive Committee member of the International Society of Chinese Language Teaching since 2010. He is also General Editor of Journal of Second Language Studies (John Benjamins). His research interests are in empirical studies of developmental and synchronic aspects of second language acquisition, bilingualism and multilingualism; linguistic approaches to non-native Chinese grammars; second language acquisition theory; formal linguistics; syntax and semantics.
