Yin Hongbiao
尹弘飚
Yin Hongbiao is Professor and Head of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Education, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He simultaneously serves as Director of the Centre for Educational Research and School Improvement and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research. He holds multiple distinguished appointments including: Life Member of Clare Hall, University of Cambridge (Cantab); Cheung Kong Scholar Chair Professor (Ministry of Education) at Southwest University (SWU); Visiting Professor at Shandong University (SDU), East China Normal University (ECNU), and Henan University (HNU).
His research focuses on teacher learning, teacher emotions, curriculum reform, and higher education pedagogy. With an outstanding publication record, he has authored over 260 articles in respected international and domestic journals such as Educational Research Review , Teaching and Teacher Education , and Higher Education .
He has been consecutively listed in Stanford University's "World's Top 2% Most Cited Scientists" since 2020. Currently, he serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Teaching and Teacher Education and Future in Educational Research(Wiley) , Advisory Editor of Teachers and Teaching , Editorial Board Member of The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher , European Journal of Education , Journal of East China Normal University, and Global Education .
